Involved in planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and activities aiming at developing preventive, rehabilitation and social integration services, and upgrading rehabilitation and professional training facilities and custodial services in Lebanon.

Emphasis was made on disabled persons, persons at risk of disability and children with special needs particularly orphans, children living in orphan like conditions, children with learning difficulties, juvenile delinquents, working and street children, and others.

The programs were sponsored by the World Rehabilitation Fund, N.Y., U.S.A. and funded by the United States Agency for International Development.
